There are so many variations of needle books in the world, but what makes this project special is that it is fashioned predominantly out of beautiful wool felt and reclaimed/vintage woven wools which gives it beautiful texture, weight and functionality. Liberty fabrics are used to add flourish and colour, and the project is finished with the most divine wooden button made by the incredible French atelier “Atelier Bonheur du Jour”. Importantly, it allows plenty of room for needles and even a pocket for wee scissors.
Anna will take you through the construction of the needle book from start to finish. It is a lovely, achievable project on which to learn some new skills and add functional beauty to your sewing kit.
