Hand Embellished Silk Bracelets | 3 April 2027
A day of slow stitching, beautiful materials and wearable art.
3 April 2027 | Bella Fabrics | 9.30am - 3.30pm | $220
Join textile artist Anna Victoria for a day immersed in sumptuous silks, delicate embroidery, glass beads and beautiful vintage treasures as you create your own embroidered silk bracelet.
These little pieces of wearable art begin with a collection of bracelet designs developed by Anna and brought together in thoughtfully curated kits. Each design provides a starting point for your creative journey, with a combination of colours, stitches, motifs and embellishments to guide you along the way.
For 2027, Anna has developed an entirely new collection of bracelet designs, offering fresh combinations of colours, motifs and embellishments to explore. If you've joined one of Anna's bracelet workshops before, you'll have the opportunity to discover new techniques, experiment with different design elements and create a completely different piece to add to your collection.
You can choose to follow your kit and recreate the design as intended, or use it as a jumping-off point for your own ideas. Swap colours, interchange elements and experiment with the materials to create something that feels uniquely yours. Whether you prefer the reassurance of a guided design or the freedom to make it your own, there is plenty of room to explore.
Throughout the day, Anna will share the embroidery, beading and couching techniques she uses in her own practice, guiding you through the construction of your bracelet and helping you bring your chosen design to life.
This is a relaxed, supportive workshop with plenty of time to slow down, enjoy the process and immerse yourself in the pleasure of making something by hand.
What you'll learn
How to construct and prepare your silk bracelet.
Embroidery, beading and couching techniques for textile jewellery.
How to work from a curated design while making thoughtful creative choices.
Ways to combine colour, texture and embellishment to personalise your piece.
What's included
Your curated bracelet kit, all materials required to complete your piece, and the use of embroidery and beading needles are included. Anna also brings an assortment of additional beads, sequins, charms and other treasures to class for you to choose from, should you wish to modify your kit bracelet design to something that is uniquely yours.
